Terms of Service

Last updated October 10, 2026

By creating an account or using the GeoPulse portal, backend or SDK you agree to these terms.

GeoPulse is in beta and this document is still being finalised. It describes how the service works today; it may be updated before general availability.

1. The service and the beta

GeoPulse provides an admin portal, a backend and a React Native SDK for detecting geofence entries and exits in mobile apps, and for acting on them. The service is in beta: features, limits and APIs may change, and it is provided without an uptime commitment. Do not rely on it for safety-critical purposes.

2. Your account

Keep your credentials and SDK keys secure and tell us if they are compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account. SDK keys ship inside your app, so treat them as public identifiers and revoke and rotate a key if it is misused. You must be able to enter into a binding contract.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your apps and for the data they send to GeoPulse. In particular you must:

  • have a lawful basis for collecting end-user location, and obtain consent where the law requires it, before the SDK collects any;
  • publish a privacy policy that discloses collection of precise location and a device identifier and the processing by GeoPulse, and complete the App Store and Google Play privacy disclosures accurately;
  • use clear, truthful location permission prompts;
  • honour the requests of your end users to access or delete their data, with our help;
  • not use the service to track anyone covertly or without their knowledge, or to harass, stalk or discriminate.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • break the law or others' rights, or send content you have no right to send;
  • attempt to get around the plan or rate limits, probe or overload the service, access another customer's data, or use webhooks to reach internal or third-party systems you do not control;
  • interfere with or reverse engineer the backend, or resell it as a competing service.

We may suspend access that threatens the service or other customers, and will try to tell you why.

5. Limits and fees

Plans have limits (for example on projects, applications, geofences and request rates) that may change. GeoPulse is free during the beta. If we introduce paid plans we will tell you in advance and you can stop using the service before being charged.

6. Your data and ours

You own your data. You give us the right to process it only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We own the service. The SDK is provided under the MIT licence stated in its package.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, limit or discontinue any part of the service. During the beta we will give notice of material changes where we reasonably can, but we may not be able to in an emergency.

8. Ending these terms

You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your data at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 9 and 10) do.

9. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that geofence events will be detected, delivered or processed in every case. Location detection depends on the user's device, operating system and permissions.

10. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, GeoPulse is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, and its total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months or USD 100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version and continued use after a change means you accept it. For material changes we will notify account holders. Questions: email damncoding23@gmail.com.
